Cherokee County, AL- Cornwall Iron Works Company at Agency of the Planters Bank of Savannah at Rome GA $1 Aug. 1, 1862 Gunther-Derby AO-144-$1c PCGS Banknote Very Good 8 Details.This $1 design features a large passenger train vignette at center and another of Justice standing at left. There is a large orange 1 - ONE DOLLAR - 1 protector and 1 DOLLAR end panel. The note has been severed along a long horizontal fold, partially reattached, and backed. This note is the first $1 of this design that we have offered on this issuer whose notes are all very rare and seldom offered.
