Fr. 233 $1 1899 Silver Certificate PMG Gem Uncirculated 66 EPQ.The Gem Black Eagle in this lot showcases rippling natural paper wave which accentuates deep serial number and Treasury Seal embossing as well as crackling fresh, entirely original paper surfaces. These attributes, along with excellent color, have earned our current offering the EPQ designation from PMG. In October 2025, we auctioned another PMG 66 EPQ graded Fr. 233 representative similar to our current offering which brought $2,040.
