PPQ.Star changeover pairs from the 1928 through the 1928E Series for $1 Silver Certificates are very hard to acquire. The Schwartz-Lindquist reference lists only four star changeover pairs known. We have now auctioned two different examples with both star changeover pairs that crossed our auction block also being listed in the Schwartz-Lindquist tome. Both nicely preserved notes in this charming star changeover pair exhibit natural paper wave, bold embossing, and ideal color. (Total: 2 notes)
