Vergennes, VT - $100 1929 Ty. 1 The National Bank of Vergennes Ch. # 1364 PMG Very Fine 25.A very scarce type and denomination for the Green Mountain State, this offering is one of only fourteen Type 1 $100s reported for all Vermont banks, according to the National Currency Foundation census. One of just three such pieces reported from this bank, it bears serial number 25 from an emission of just 44 sheets and it exhibits just problem-free wear.
