Westerly, RI - $1 1875 Fr. 385 The Washington National Bank Ch. # 952 PMG Very Fine 25.First Charters and Brown Backs only were issued from for this rare bank which left the banking scene in 1904. This piece is one of just four Aces reported and, quite likely, the finest of that quartet. It is very well margined with excellent color, dark pen signatures, and even wear. This pretty note was last on the market in a 2001 auction.
