Norwich, CT - $1 Original Fr. 380a The Shetucket National Bank
Ch. # 1379 PMG Choice Fine 15.First Charters only were issued from this excessively rare Norwich bank, with this institution liquidating at the expiration of its charter in 1885. Just three notes are known from this short-lived bank, including this Original Series Ace which last appeared in our 2011 Long Beach auction. The first of the known trio to cross the auction block since 2013, this is an evenly circulated and nicely margined note with just some pinholes.
