Houston, TX- Government of Texas $10 Dec. 27, 1838 Cr. H17A Medlar 61 PMG Choice About Unc 58.This lovely piece is printed by Draper, Toppan, Longacre & Co. on fresh paper with very little evidence of circulation. At left, an antebellum steamboat traverses a riverway, and at upper right, an allegorical female reclines on a pillar with building instruments leaning against cotton bales nearby. We last offered this exact representative in January 2024, when it realized $1,560. PMG mentions the note is cut cancelled.
