Description
Philadelphia, PA- Manufacturers and Mechanics Bank of the City & County of Philadelphia $100 18__ as G48 Proof PMG Uncirculated 62 EPQ.This note depicts a panoramic view of a train of hopper cars passing by two industrial plants. The note is printed on India paper with the usual small POCs in the signature lines and was once part of the ABNCo Archive holdings that were sold in 1990. There were around 18 examples of this design in that sale. We presume that the grade assigned was primarily impacted by the fact that the top margin is cut tighter than the other three which include at least some sheet selvage.
