Vicksburg, MS- Commercial & Rail Road Bank of Vicksburg $10 18__ as G12 Kraus 10561p as Leggett 19 Proof PMG Choice Uncirculated 63.Although the vignette is missing from the right end panel on this note because it has been cut out, we know from other notes that the end panels are identical with each having an oval cameo-like medallion head counter. This note is printed on India paper mounted on cardstock and was part of Lot 826 of the 1990 ABNCo Archives sale that contained two examples of this note. This is certain because the removed vignette is specifically mentioned in the lot description. We are aware of two different Plate B notes and therefore conclude that the surviving population of this design is three, and very likely at least four examples.
