Pennsylvania April 10, 1775 50s PMG Choice About Unc 58 EPQ.This note was part of a small emission authorized to fund the construction of jails and correctional institutions. It features, appropriately enough, a view of the Walnut Street Workhouse (which served as the city jail of Philadelphia). The note is well printed on good paper with bright colors and clear signatures of Edward Roberts, Job Bacon, and Lindsay Coats.
