T31 $5 1861 PF-2 Cr. 245 PMG Fine 12.Printed by Southern Bank Note Company (in fact, the New Orleans office of ABNCo), this plate letter C note was part of a four subject - four denomination sheet that comprised this $5 plus a $10, $20, and $50. A total of 14,860 Plate C T31 $5s were issued. This note has seen quite a bit of circulation, but is completely intact and free of repairs, cancels, or other meaningful impairments.
