Description

Visalia, CA- Labor Exchange Branch 127 5/100 Unit 1896 PMG Very Fine 25.
Branch 127 of the Labor Exchange was announced with some fanfare and publicity on October 4, 1896. Claude E. Harrelson who signed this note was the branch's accountant. The last mention of the exchange appears in 1897 and its ultimate fate remains unknown at present, although most had ceased active operation by the turn of the century. PMG mentions some pinholes that affect little. We are unaware of any other notes from this branch at present, with this note's appearance marking its fourth offering in one of our public auctions.

Estimate: $275 - up.
