Little Rock, AR- State of Arkansas-Treasury Warrant $1.80 July 24, 1862 Cr. 26B PMG Very Fine 30.This warrant, issued for odd amounts, features the Arkansas coat of arms, then current with an end panel containing a female portrait at left, and a dog and safe vignette representing Fidelity, at bottom center. PMG mentions minor edge damage at right and some minor stains that are not overly distracting. This variety, which has a single lower loop in the "T" of "The" is rare, with Shull estimating a population of perhaps 5-15 surviving examples.
