T18 $20 1861 PF-7 Cr. 107 Uncut Sheet of Eight PMG About Uncirculated 55.Opportunities to offer sheets of this type do not present themselves often. The piece in this lot is comprised of eight T18 notes. All feature a sailor leaning on a capstan at left and a sailing vessel at center. The lithographer's name, "F. Altschu," appears at upper center, directly above the top left note on the sheet. In January 2025, we auctioned a PMG AU 55 Net T18 sheet which realized $1,680. PMG mentions ink erosion in the Register's signatures on several notes on the sheet in this lot.
