Description
Lexington, NC- Bank of Lexington $5 June 1, 1860 G2a PMG Very Fine 25 EPQ.A splendid American Bank Note Company product that has a commonly seen allegorical vignette at top center, as well as the lower left vignette that is found on T-29 Confederate notes. The vast majority of the ones that we auction have the arced "Payable at Graham" designation below the town name. This G2a note is much scarcer and well deserving of the EPQ designation.
