The Richmond error note has a thin gutter on the back that runs from the top edge to the bottom edge through the eagle obverse side of The Great Seal of the United States. All three of the brick labels in this lot were once part of 4,000 note bricks of Dallas FRNs. Labels for 1963 and later FRNs will often not have the series subset letter printed on them. This is the case for the $1 "1963" label in this lot. The block and serial numbers printed on the label are "K36612001B to K36616000B." K-B was a Series 1963A block. In fact, K-A was the only $1 Dallas block for Series 1963, while $1 Series 1963A blocks were K-A, K-B, and K-C. All three labels in this lot were nicely removed from their backing. The BEP dropped the printing of the last serial number on their labels starting with Series 1974. For serial number enthusiasts, the 1974 label in this lot has radar package number 11511.
