Orangeburg, SC - $10 1902 Plain Back Fr. 631 The Peoples National Bank Ch. # (S)10674 PMG Very Fine 25.A moderately circulated example which displays the extremely rare first title used by this institution from 1914 through 1921. The National Bank Note Census lists but three notes with this nomenclature, with just one piece being publicly offered in the past 20 years. That lone occurrence was another $10, also in a PMG Very Fine 25 holder, that sold for $3,760 in our 2017 FUN auction. This offering is identical in grade to that other note with just PMG mentioning foreign substance.
