Description
G.F.C. Smillie's Personal Possessions. A 1909 pocket diary with many, many detailed entries in Smillie's hand. Also, a rather crude India paper card-mounted vignette of two flags hand identified at the bottom "My first attempt! G.F.C. Smillie". Three courtesy passes, one for the House of Representatives and two for the Senate Chamber, filled out and presented to "G.F.C. Smillie and Family". One for 1911 and two for 1906, each signed appropriately. Also, an August 5, 1920 newspaper page with a lengthy article "How Uncle Sam Makes Our Money." It is illustrated with five BEP photos one showing Smillie at his desk. (6 items) Est. 500up (Total: 6 items)
