Description

Rawdon, Wright, Hatch & Edson Offering Circular
A beautifully engraved offering circular from this bank note engraving and printing firm dated January 1, 1856, noting at the top that shares in this venture were priced at $5 each, and touting the firm's available service. It is embellished on the front page with red overprinted devices, and on both pages with vignettes, many of which will be familiar to collectors of obsolete currency. There are numerous folds and a few tiny holes at those folds, but the overall condition is quite high and the appeal of this item quite strong.
