Albany, NY- Albany Exchange Bank $1 Counterfeit October 1, 1844This well orchestrated counterfeit spent the better days of its life traveling through commerce. Edge tears and repairs are noted. The bank operated from 1839-65 and became the National Albany Exchange Bank. Fair.
