Virginia July 14, 1780 $45 PMG Very Good 10 Net. This note on thin paper has also been backed with thin paper and the denomination is still visible through the backing. According to PMG, the backing resulted in the net grade. Only 10,488 of these notes were printed. The signatures have faded, but can still be seen. This example is numbered 66 and was signed by J.M.
