Low Serial Numbered Spain Banco de Espana 1000 Pesetas 1949 (ND 1951) Pick 138a PMG Choice Uncirculated 63.A really pretty highest denomination, this piece saw only the briefest circulation. The face features Ramon Gonzalez, the Bank of Spain's first governor. The back sees a spectacular rendition of Goya's El Bebedor (The drinker). This example boasts a low serial of 57 and is perforation cancelled.
