Spain Spanish Civil War - Assortment of Local Notes Including Nationalist and Republican Issues 1930s.These fascinating local emergency notes were issued by both sides during the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939). Unlike most German and Austrian notgeld, most of these small notes actually attained at least some level of circulation. The 27 notes in this grouping are all different and grade Extremely Fine or Better with no damaged or repaired notes noticed. A catalog covering these issues is out of print but still available from the International Bank Note Society. (Total: 27 notes)
