Curacao Curacaosche Bank 50 Centen 1892 Pick A52 PMG Extremely Fine 40.
A mere 8,000 notes of this small denomination were printed and issued bearing this 19th century date. At the time of cataloging, this outstanding example is the first and only note graded in the PMG Population Report. We have not offered this type in the past, and it is the first to be auctioned in a major sale since 2017. The signatures on the back appear to be "as-issued". Pleasing and very rare.
