Switzerland Bank in St. Gallen 500 Franken ND (ca.1852) Pick S440r Remainder PMG Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ.An interesting regional issuance prepared for St. Gallen. It is unclear if this type was ever issued officially. This remainder was a high denomination in the series and is remarkable in its assigned grade by PMG. Notice that this note was printed by Toppan, Carpenter, Casilear & Co., New York & Philadelphia, which was an interesting choice for a European issuer.
