India Government of India, Cawnpore 2 Rupees, 8 Annas ND (1917) Pick 2 Jhunjhunwalla-Razack 3.3.1A-G PMG Very Fine 25 Net.The 2 Rupees 8 Annas denomination is always desirable and scarce today. The prefix on each note indicates its city of origin. On this note, that city is Cawnpore. Although this example has repairs, they do not seem to detract from the overall visual. Scarce in any grade and extremely popular.
