British Guiana Royal Bank of Canada 20 Dollars 3.1.1938 Pick S142 630-38-04 PMG Very Fine 30.The Government of British Guiana only issued denominations above $2 Dollars beginning in 1938, and denominations above $5 Dollars in 1942. This incredible and rare $20 of 1938 was part of the final series of private bank issued notes from the Royal Bank of Canada, Georgetown. We have offered this type infrequently in the past, as only a few examples are known to exist in private hands. This offering is fresh to the hobby and should see spirited bidding. Some ink on the back and rust are mentioned for accuracy.
