Seldom Seen Super Scribed Australian 1 Pound
Australia National Bank of Australasia, Melbourne 1 Pound ND
(1910) Pick A121b PMG Very Fine 20.This incredible and very rare 1 Pound was originally printed for the National Bank of Australasia, but it was left blank until it was repurposed by the Australian Government. The overprinted text is sideways, making it a bit hard to read, but it was issued on or about 1910. A problem-free note with good colors, paper, and details. One of only a few extant and a desirable type note for the country, and for the region as a whole. Not to be missed, as this is only the second example we have had the privilege to offer.
