Angola Banco Nacional Ultramarino, Benguela, 5 Mil Reis 1.3.1909 Pick 26 PMG Very Fine 20.An impressive early 20th-century rarity, and a note with minimal information known. A small stock of Sao Tome 5 Mil Reis notes were overprinted in red and sent to Benguela, Angola, for circulation. At the time of cataloging, this is the first and only example graded in the PMG Population Report. Extremely rare and an important Angola banknote. Minor ink on the back is mentioned for accuracy.
