Fr. 16c $1 1862 Legal Tender PMG Choice Uncirculated 63.Wonderful colors highlight this Civil War era dollar bill. The vignette is of the Secretary of the Treasury, Chase, as this bill was printed a number of years prior to the law forbidding the likeness of any living person to appear on a note. The note is superb in most respects, but the margin size is right on the line between 63 and 64. PMG has chosen 63.
