Sandersville, GA- J.W. Wilson $1 ND PCGS Apparent Very Fine 30While this note is undated, the style suggests that it was issued in the 1830s or 1840s. Another former holding of the Alan Doris Collection, this note was adjudged to be very rare or possibly unique. Since 2015, we have offered one additional unsigned $1 remainder that was only in Very Good-Fine condition and expect this note, which traces its pedigree back to the collection of Dr. John Muscalus and is plated in his book Album of Local Georgia Business Notes on page 40, to realize somewhere in the same neighborhood as its last appearance. PCGS mentions some miniscule rust stains on the right end.
