Description

China Ta Ch'ing Pao Ch'ao 1000 Cash 1857 (Yr. 7) Pick A2e S/M#T6-41 PMG Choice Uncirculated 64.
19th-century banknotes are always popular, and Uncirculated examples are scarce and cherished by collectors. The inking and paper quality are impressive, and the spindle hole is "as-made". These cash notes were printed to finance the Imperial Army during the Taiping Rebellion. Historic and desirable.
