Fr. 1951-I $5 1928A Federal Reserve Note. PMG Gem Uncirculated
65 EPQ.The 1928A $5s from Minneapolis are easily the rarest from the 1928A Series with only 652,800 printed and issued. Tonight's offering is the sole example to have received a Gem grade from either of the major services. It is a beautiful note with four more than ample margins, vibrant color, and fully original surfaces. By way of comparison, we recently auctioned a PMG 64 EPQ note for $3,360.
