Southwest Africa Volkskas Limited 5 Pounds 1.9.1959 Pick 15b PMG Very Fine 30.
One of the most famous of all African banknotes and a type that is sought after by collectors worldwide. This was the highest denomination of the Volkskas Bank series. Across all dates from 1949 to 1959, a mere 78,000 notes were issued. Mild circulation is seen on this example. A beautiful Waterlow & Sons type note and rarely seen with such good eye appeal.
