HSBC's Ten Dollar banknotes dated 1909 and 1913 are a famed rarity, with a surprising few graded in PMG's census. This is the first example of this date we have offered, and it is presently the second finest of only 11 pieces presently graded by PMG, which includes notes dated 1909 and 1913. The inking and paper quality are exceptional for the type, with only a small bit of rust mentioned for accuracy. The manuscript fountain pen signature at bottom left remains bold and clear and the paper retains crispness and body. Rare in any grade and outstanding as offered here.
