Fall River, MA - $5 1882 Brown Back Fr. 466 The First NB Ch. # 256 PMG Very Fine 20.An evenly circulated and well margined $5 Brown Back which bears the signature of J.S. Brayton as President. Mr. Brayton was the uncle of one of Fall River's most notorious citizens, Lizzie Borden, although no record exists of Mr. Brayton taking an axe to any of the bank's customers.
