Uncirculated 65 EPQ.A well-margined high denomination example from the tougher Boston district, this piece is crossing the public auction block for the first time. With just 30,000 notes issued, notes in this lofty state of preservation are a bit more difficult to come by. This offering features ideal ink colors with fully original paper surfaces. It is exceeded in grade by only one note a single point finer in the latest PMG Population Report. High denomination notes from the Boston district have always been in demand as evidenced by the fact that we auctioned an identically graded piece for $16,200 in our FUN auction just last year.
