Uncirculated 65 EPQ.More than a year has lapsed without a Gem example of this Chicago $1,000 offered at auction. No Superb Gems have been graded, and a 66 last appeared in 2020. Any high denomination specialist will need to consider this scarce Gem 65 EPQ as a rare opportunity to add to their collection. The margins are sizeable for the type, and the paper is as bright as can be found for the issue. While the EPQ designation is not seen on the front of the PMG holder, the comment is made on the back.
