Description

China People's Bank of China 10 Yuan 1953 Pick 870 S/M#C283-14 PMG Very Fine 30.
China's mid-1950s series of banknotes are extremely popular, as they ushered in a few era of political and economic stability. This 10 Yuan was the highest denomination of the series, and it was worth 100,000 Yuan of the previous series at a convertibility rare of 10,000:1. Relatively few of these large sized, highest denomination notes were saved which makes them prized by collectors today. Standard folding is seen on this mid-grade example, along with some stains mentioned for accuracy.

PMG Very Fine 30。
