Fr. 224 $1 1896 Silver Certificate PMG Gem Uncirculated 66
EPQ.Large margins for the type and terrific color highlight this beautiful $1 Educational. The PMG 66 EPQ grade appears to us to be right on the money for this always popular type note. It is a plate letter C example with a six-digit serial number and the back reveals natural paper wave. Friedberg 224 notes in the grade of PMG 66 EPQ have all broken the $6,000 barrier in our auctions since April 2021. A look at the PMG Population Report states that they have graded only eight higher, and all by a single grade point.
