Description

Patriot's Bank Advertising Note 10 Patriotic Impulses State of War (1899)
The face of this advertising note that dates back to the Spanish-American War has a portrait of Admiral Dewey and vignettes of his flagship and birthplace. It has been folded into fourths and reinforced with tape. There is an approximate one and a half inch split at bottom center. The back has a drawing of a family of the time and a listing of items that can be bought at this dry goods store including ladies golf capes. At the bottom, the note has been attached to card stock and written on the card stock is "Claremont Fair U.J.C. - Sept. 21, 1899." This is a neat item from this time period. Very Good.
