China Board of Revenue 10 Taels 1854 (Yr. 4) Pick A12b S/M#H176-13 PMG Choice Very Fine 35.
Chinese Imperial notes are as popular as ever, as they are a relic from an era of long ago. The Board of Revenue series denominated in Taels is much scarcer than the similar Cash series also issued during the Ch'ing Dynasty. PMG has only graded 64 examples of this high denomination 10 Taels at the time of cataloging. We have offered eight examples of this note in the past, none of which match or exceed the grade of this offering. Spindle hole at issue is mentioned for accuracy. An elite and rare type.

清朝銀票乃為歷史悠久的遺珍，其人氣之盛歷久不衰。戶部官票以兩作單位，故遠比大清寶鈔珍貴稀罕。截至編目時，這款高面額的拾兩官票在PMG的記錄中僅見六十四例。而敝司則曾經手八例，但品相無一能與當前此例相媲美。票面帶有發行時留下的紙扦孔。實為超凡卓絕的一大珍鈔。
