Rare Fr. 118* Bison Star - One of Four Reported
Fr. 118* $10 1901 Legal Tender Star Note PMG Very Fine
20.This is a very tough Bison star that is one of just four replacement notes reported for this signature combination, and the first one that we have been able to offer in almost twenty years. It is a pleasing mid-grade replacement note with a bold red overprint and solid paper for the grade. Aside from Fr. 117 for which there are only three stars reported, this is the rarest Friedberg number for stars for the Bison series.
