Bahamas Bahamas Government 5 Pounds 1936 (ND 1961) Pick 16c PMG Choice Uncirculated 64.Highest denomination of the final series of notes denominated in Shillings and Pounds. This signature combination, Higgs / Sweeting / Bethel, was issued for only approximately two years and it is uncommon in any decent collectible grade. This example grades Choice Uncirculated with only four pieces grading higher in the PMG Population Report at the time of cataloging.
