Fr. 2 $5 1861 Demand Note PMG Very Fine 25.An extremely nice Philadelphia example for the grade, this piece is housed in a comment free third party holder. Our inspection reveals a superior mid-grade note with sound edges and paper. In addition, the folds are for the most part light and well spaced apart. Dark inks have also been retained along with the solid penned signatures. The last Fr. 2 to cross our auction block in the PMG VF 25 grade without a negative comment brought $4,320 in our 2021 FUN auction.
