Fr. 7 $10 1861 Demand Note PMG Very Fine 20.A total of 48 survivors are listed in the census, with none of the third party graded notes with auction appearances topping the Very Fine grade. This example boasts strong penned signatures, larger than average top and bottom margins, and pleasingly bright printed design details. The small edge splits, which the grading service refers to as tears, are not readily apparent through the holder. Two years ago, we auctioned a repaired PMG Very Fine 20 example for $9,600.
