Fr. 363 $5 1891 Treasury Note PMG Extremely Fine 40.An attractive $5 Treasury Note that last appeared on the market in 2007 FUN auction. At that time, we said: "Broad margins and pleasing paper originality add to this Treasury Note. When viewing the back, the embossing of the serial numbers and seal are still readily visible." PMG has agreed with our grade assessment from fifteen years ago but has added their nebulous comment retouched to their holder. Nevertheless, this is still a very pretty note.
