Description

$2/$1 Federal Reserve Bank Note Double Denomination

Fr. 765 $2/$1 Double Denomination 1918 Federal Reserve Bank Note PMG Fine 12.
Double denominations are understandably referred to as the "King of Errors." This $2/$1 double denomination example, which we last handled for our 2006 Long Beach auction, was kept in a wallet by a proud recipient as a cherished wallet piece. This produced some paper surface damage as noted by PMG. No matter what the condition, it is without doubt, a highly desirable error note.
