Fr. 1614 $1 1935E Silver Certificates. Two Examples.This PMG multi note holder is the home for an incorrect serial number $1 Silver grading Choice Uncirculated 63 and also its preceeding correct serial number mate which grades Choice Uncirculated 63 EPQ. The error note had two incorrect serial numbers of 07900000 printed. An inspector corrected both serial numbers with a red crayon as they should have been 08000000. A large red "X" was placed on Washington's portrait and a red and white error sticker was placed in the lower right corner, too. These diligent actions did not keep this error out of circulation. The original finder of this striking error had the foresight to save both the error and the preceeding note with serial 07999999. The item count for this lot is one as both notes are in one multi note holder.
