China People's Republic 1000 Yuan 1951 Pick 857AaThe elusive issue for Xinjiang Province. Almost all notes that returned to the east (or went overseas) were in this kind of shape, as these lower denominations (worth 10 cents in current RMB) circulated heavily without being replaced with new notes. The grade has been taken into account when deciding the estimate, which should be easily surpassed. PCGS Good 4.
